i have just installed a late 90's honda bf25a and there is no power when i turn the key. The main harness has been cleaned and connected, the positive power supply is connected to the solenoid( the fuse is not blown), and the negative battery ground is connected to one of the starter mounting bolts. I connected all possible color coordinated wires to the key switch, choke, light indicator, and safety stop. I do not have any wires connected from shifter to key switch, the motor is not equipped with tilt/trim. I have read in other threads there should be a live wire running from the key switch directly to the battery. If this is true, can someone please explain exactly which wire(color) runs to the positive, and which one runs to the negative. I am on engine number three on this boat and just want to use it one time before the end of the year.
Thanks Aaron
