Start in the morning no problem, after it's a little warm (drive 4 or 5mn) the engine stalls, down to idle, I stop it, immediately restart it and it will go again for less and less time each time. I changed the jet, cleaned the carb etc... no results. Anyone an idea?

Hi,
I would suggest checking the mechanical pump to function properly and ensure the fuel reaching the carbs properly, because this engine seems to run on the petrol that you initially prime in.

Good luck

Is the tank vented?

Are the QD connectors good?

The primer bulb, try to position the hose with the tank arrow up and see if the problem discontinues.

Is the engine overheating?

To find your problem, you have to eliminate the non-problems first. Process of elimination will narrow down the probable failure item.

Re: Honda BF20D4

Had a similar sounding problem with my Honda BF15. Gave up after checking the expected problems - fuel flow, etc, and took it to the dealer. The mechanic discovered frayed wires on a component which were shorting out - an ignition control module, as I understood it. If all else fails, you may get lucky doing a quick visual check under the engine cover. G'luck.
