Honda BF15A Year????

Can anyone tell me what year this motor is <br /><br />BAAS 1205803 BF15A<br /><br />I think it is a 1991 but not sure. Also were there any problems with this motor that I should be aware of?<br /><br />Thanks from a new poster

ZZZZZ,<br /><br />I have a 1448 aluminum Jon, Flat bottom that I am considering putting this motor on. Hull weight is 300lbs. I have been running a 9.9 rude for a couple years but it is to slow 7mph, Do you think this 15 Honda will push this boat ok?<br /><br />Thanks

I think it will push it but don't try to waterski !!
