Honda Bf15a has cover with "2006" stated but not sure of year

I have bought an old BAAS 1500676 on frame but I don't know year. Anyone have knowledge of this? I think its a 2000 but cover says 2006

Can't help you on the BF15, but a while ago I poked around on the Internet enough and eventually found a chart for the BF10 series (or 9.9)

Does the cover says 2006 emissions compliant by chance? My 99' Honda had a sticker on the cover boasting about being emissions compliant for some future year, I don't remember which year.

Yes, it does have that same sticker! Thats why I question the date of the engine. I believe I can remedy this by going to dealer with engine code that I just found (hard to see).
