Honda BF 130a Vibrations at Dead Slow

This weekend I was returning to the dock after a day of fishing. I motored through the harbor at 5 mph with no problems. As I approached the dock I reduced speed to the lowest setting -- dead slow. At first the engine vibrated enough that fishing poles rattled against the CC grab rails. After thirty seconds the vibration (and rattling) stopped. The sound of the engine went down as well.

Before I could check the rpm dial it was over.

There was no difference in power during and after the vibrations.

I performed standard winter service. All fuel filters (internal and external) and plugs were replaced in April.

What is causing the vibrations, and presumptive higher rpms?

Earthquake?

My 90 did that all the time at low RPms when the carbs needed cleaned. It was pretty constant in a slow speed RPM range and didn't go away until I cleaned them out.
You have a fuel injected motor though, maybe something caused one of the injectors to stick for a moment.... it's hard to troubleshoot a problem that rectified itself since it is no longer a problem.
