Honda BF 130

Looking at buying twin Honda BF 130's (used 2001). Previous owner claims
compression is about 185 on all cylinders. I don't know much about 4 stroke's, but is this about normal for this type of outboard?

Yes, those numbers are approrpriate but it would be nice to see that test done with you present.Also you can have the serial numbers scanned with Honda I N ,to make sure all updates to this engine have been performed or any problems registered.Get me those numbers and I'll be happy to help.
