I am tring to find out if there is an easier way to to adjust the shift rod after doing a water pump inpeller on the small Honda twins. I have been removing the rectifer and the shift spring stopper and then removing the shift shaft adjuster completely before pulling the lower unit to replace the water pump impeller. Is there an easier way to do this or any short cuts that I am missing. It is a big guess to figure how many times to turns the adjuster to get back to the original position. <br /><br />Thanks, Pat
