honda b100 idle

hi new to site
i have an older b100 10hp and it seems to be stuck in midrange it does not seem to top out and it will not idle down to a slow troll. i have taken the carb off and clean it 3-4 times last summer getting ready to fish it again but want to have it running better this year. i went to a dealer and they told me i can not get carb parts is this true and is there a source for how to set the choke wire and throttle cable because the guy i got it from stated that he liked to tinker with it. thanks

have you cleaned out the tiny (.025) hole behind the throttle plate in the carb body. these sometimes get plugged with corrosion and the engine won't idle without that passage clear. (it's the idle mixture passage) after a complete teardown and buildup of my b100, it wouldn't idle without 1/2 choke pulled in, and this was the fix.
