Honda B100-BF100 Compatibility

Hello, Guys, Just trying to get a little background on my Honda B100 (10 H.P.) engine, S/N 1012347, year unknown. I have purchased a Seloc manual that says it covers all Honda 2-130 h.p. 1-4 cyl. models, but makes no mention of the B100, only the BF100.<br />are the two models similar enough to use the data for the BF100? If not, does anyone know where i can order a shop or service manual for the B100?<br /><br />Thanks in advance for any help,<br />Jeff

I just start with iboats and I think I have a answer to your question. I have a 1980 B/BF100 Honda with owners manual. I didn't purchse it new (would have been 4 years old) but I'm 90% sure it the orginal manual. The guy I bought it from what very meticulous in his up keep. The reason I write B/BF100 is, the manual references BF100 even though the serial number starts out B100S-130***x I think it's a case of not having the F on until new models came out. I've looked at a lot of Hondas they haven't change a ton since 1980. Your probably okay using the new shop manual. I was thinking about getting a shop manual myself. If you did purchase it, did you find ANY discrepancies?
