I have an old B100 that is not pumping water. I replaced the water pump impeller and gaskets. The old impeller was in pieces and I found most of them. I put it back together (twice) and still nothing comes out of the pee hole.

Is there a good way to check the engine for pieces of impeller? I would like to backflush it from a spot that allows me to do the least disassembly possible, because I am not a pro. We checked the thermostat area, but that's where I quit for the day.

Also, is there an easy way to confirm that I did the impeller change correctly?

Thanks for the help!

Have you checked to see if your problem may be caused by an over active mud dauber's unfortunate choice of location to build a nest? That has to be the #1 reason most engines (that are not used every day) stop peeing.

Yeah, thanks..
Pretty sure it's a piece of impeller. Already run a wire through it a few times.
