Honda 90 four stroke oil filter

Can anyone advise me on the use of a standard car oil filter, for 90hp four stroke 1996, and if so which one - many thanks

You can take the Honda part number and try to cross reference it at your local auto parts store...However, auto filters are not covered in corrosion resistant paint so you may get rust through within a couple of months if you are using it near salt water.
