Just got my 9.9 out after about a year and a half..I think it was stored on the wrong side as oil came out of the carb. I took the carb off, cleaned it by pouring gas into all the holes. Squirted gas in a vent thing at the top and into the screw hole by the overflow tube on the bottom. Clean gas came out the bottom when I squirted it into the top hole. When I started it up it acts like the float is stuck wide open because gas is flowing out of all the holes. I think it's a 1999 and it's electric start. Think I need to rebuild the carb? Thanks for any help.
