Honda 9.9 4 stroke

My 9.9 will start fine. Idle up and down fine for a about 2 minutes then it drops to a very low idle and then quites. I've taken off the carb and thoroully cleaned it. To me it seems like a thermostate problem, if thats even possible. The engine did take a hard knock to the lower end but is still pushing out water very well.

Squeeze the bulb before it kills. Might be a case of the fuel pump needing repair. My guess the bulb will be soft and the fuel system is not holding pressure. Check for leaks, clamps on the ends of the lines, etc.
