Just baught a boat with two 1995 Honda 75HP motors on it. One of them is ever so slightly in gear even when in neutral. What adjustment can I make to correct this.

Take the engine cowling off.Next have someone else shift the lever, the cable that moves first is the shift cable. It should have a neutral safety switch in the engine, verify the linkage is pointing properly. If necessary remove cable and adjust accordingly. If you get the cable adjusted to the neutral switch and it still tries to stay in gear you may need to verify that there is no extra slop in the linkage or lower unit.

I somewhat disagree based on your discription. There is no such thing as slightly in gear; it either is or it isn't. If it is, the boat would be doing circles. I am inclined to think you see the prop spinning slightly when in neutral and the engine running. Mine does this too, as does my motorcycle. It's just the oil in the gearcase spinning rapidly and this movement is transferred to the prop. Why one does it and not the other? Maybe thicker oil in one or a little water in the other, castle nut to tight or just the fit of the gears on the shaft.
