I have a Honda 7.5 hp 4 stroke outboard. New carb but hard to start sometimes and stalls on occasion. Could this be the mixture needs adjustment? How would one find the adjustment for the fuel mixture on it?
I had a recent issue with my bf100 with no or intermittent spark. These units are getting old and the wires and connections from the CDI are getting corroded. Just to make sure you don?t have an intermittent spark issue from corroded connections I suggest you clean or replace all electrical connections under the hood.
I have an older model, late 70's. the carb is much like an old lawnmower carb, brass screw with a spring around it. the mixture screw is on the side facing out, easy to get to. and a idle screw on the butterfly link..
