I have a 2003 Honda 50hp fourstroke that blew the powerhead and I have been looking for a rebuilt powerhead. I learned through my research that the same powerhead is used on the 50 as the 45, 40, and 35 hp. In that case what is the difference between these engines that changes the horsepower output? So if I buy a rebuilt 35hp powerhead, then what parts do I need to change (or swap out with blown engine) in order to make it a 50hp outboard? Thanks!
