I have a mid eighties I believe Honda 2hp outboard i use it on a 12ft inflatable raft, but it is doesn't have a slow enough speed to troll with, is there any way I can lower the idle or something?
Lowering the idle lower than factory setting is not recommended. Part of determining the factory setting is the rpm required to properly circulate oil. If you consistently run the engine below the factory setting you run the risk of internal damage. I would suggest some type of trolling bag or bucket to slow the trolling speed without slowing the engine
