HONDA 200s vs Honda 225s

I have nearly new, 2003 Honda 200s (<20hrs) on my Worldcat 266SC that was recently totalled for unrepairable hull damage. I am getting a new Worldcat 270TE on which I can power with more powerful Honda 225s. The upgrade in the motors will cost approximately $15,000. How much better will the new boat perform with the Honda 225s vs the Honda 200s? I enjoy offshore canyon fishing and am interested in getting there fast with the best fuel efficiency. Tx

Each situation is unique in these instantses.You are certainly gaining 50 h.p., as well as adding the VTEC advantage.That is nothing to sneeze at.In the same boat powered with a single 200, then repowered with a 225, you can feel when that VTEC folds in.I was impressed.
