I have 93 Honda 25 hp ls outboard. Took it to the dealer to sell who said impeller was not working. (was fine last time I used it two weeks ago)
dropped the lower leg and accessed impeller. It looks just fine (looks almost like the new one in my hand). no corrosion at all. How do I get the parts located below the impeller over the knob on the shaft?
do I need to take them off? Can I just put the new impeller on or do I need to take the other parts off and change the gaskets?
How can I tell if the impeller is in opertable condition?
Undit the bolt that holds the shift rod into the lower unit. It didn't come out easy (bit of corrosion) so left it and thought I"d write.
I purchased a 2006 50hp and will buy a manuel for it.
any comments apprectiated.
