In the dealer showroom I open the covers of both the 9.9 and the 15.<br /><br />The biggest difference was that the 15 twist grip trottle rotated further than the 9.9.<br /><br />Inspecting the 9.9 revealed a stop. <br /><br />Otherwise the plugs are different.<br /><br />I bought the 9.9, removed the stop, and it has been running fine for the last 8 years.<br /><br />Any one else do this?
