honda 15 hp d/c unit

my charging unit does not appear to be working.<br />Are there any dianosis tips someone could tell me about before I bring it in to the dealer.<br />Tried a voltage tester, Nothing coming out. Thanks in advance. Dan

That charging feature is one of the niceties that Honda provides you with stock,but output is sparse and you have to be hooked to the battery to measure it.Make sure that the prongs in the plug are not all covered with green corrosion,check the fuse in the holder under the cover right next to the plug.
