Honda 135hp starting problem

I have a fairly new electric start Honda 135. On my last trip, the motor would start and then kick off. After two or three attempts, the motor would start. The problem occurred on the first attempt early in the morning with cool temperatures. No problem starting in the afternoon after being on the lake for several hours. It felt like the emergency stop was shutting off the motor. Any information is appreciated

There are alot of possibilities there.How many hours are on this unit and what have you done to maintain it?Fuel issues come automatically to mind.Dirty battery terminals or a weak battery can also offer up these symptoms.A few more details can help us help you.
