I have a 2005 Honda 135 with 150 hours. After having the engine serviced with new water pump and impeller I started to get this overheat alarm. The pee tube is really running fast and when I turn the engine off and right back on it will run all day below 4000 RPM. But as soon as I push it to 4000 RPM or higher it gives me the alarm. Have replaced thermostat, and T-stats, which by the way did not look bad.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at your warning lights is the oil pressure light on? Is the overheat light on or blinking? Is it a constant alarm or beeping? Could be an oil pressure problem too, check your oil for water and make sure it not overfull. Overfull is just as bad as not enough oil.
