Hi
I'm buing a Arimar Scuba 540 and in broshure they say it is for up to 120 HP.
I have a diving center and the boat is going to take a lot of waight and beating.
My honda dealer is offering me 130 etl. for only 150 Euro more than the price of 115 etl.
He has a problem with the deliveri of 115.
So my consurns are:
-is 130 too strong for my boat (the weight of the motors is the saim)??
- do 130 have shorter life than 115 because of more power they have so they wear of sooner???
- is this motor able to make lots of worck for me in my diving center???
Thank you.

Hello, Kokopeli.

Yes. The BF115 and the BF130 are essentially the same engine in different states of tune.

If your boat can handle the weight (over 500lb.) and you don't routinely run her at full throttle you should be able to get long, reliable service from the BF130.

Good luck. :)
