Re: honda 130 no discharge
A good dealer should be able to take care of whatever the problem is for you. It'd probably help him, and maybe help you to decide whether to take it in, if you knew a little more about what happened when the buzzer sounded and what's happening now.

When the buzzer went off and the engine slowed, did you notice if the red overheat light came on, or did the green oil pressure light go out? Was there a steady stream of water from the pee hole before the alarm sounded; what about when the engine was running at reduced rpm? Have you checked the oil level (then or since); was it OK?

What happens now when you try to start the engine (how did you get back to shore)? Does the engine turn over at all when you turn the key to the 'START' position? If it doesn't turn over, are you getting 12 volts to the starter motor? If it turns over, are you getting spark at the plugs; fuel supplied to cylinders?

Knowing the answers to the above may even allow those on this forum to help you. For example, the overheat switch is designed to alarm before any damage occurs and should allow a restart once the engine has cooled below the alarm set point. These engines are fairly bulletproof. Give us more info, or just take it to a dealer and let him figure it out. Good luck.
