Theoretically you can, but you would have to do a lot of calculations to get the right positioning of the ram and to get the right length of ram. On a motor that small, I think it could be done. What you can do is build a bracket like the CMC aftermarket tilt/trim setup. You could even reverse engineer a CMC unit if you could see one in person and get measurements, but I never said to do that if anyone asks
. I had considered building a setup for my Merc 1250, but have since just decided I would get a setup for the inline six if the right deal comes along. Good luck, and if you are successful, post details.
