Basically I am going to make my own hydrofoil,
Are they best made out of aluminium or hard plastic?
And does any one know of any diagrams of which i could copy,
They cant be hard to make and will save me around 40 nicker??

well why not bother.
1. I aint loaded so 30 or 40 quid is sometning to me when i could fabricate something quite easily, esp, when i work in a trade where that sort of material is easily come by.
2. Waste boating time, this engine aint in water yet so i can add the foil to it at home. and i cant take boat out every day because of tides and its dark when i get home from work. So this, probably simple job can be done at home when i dont have the chance to 'waste good boating time'.

I took my doel-fins off and threw them out a couple of weeks ago. They are garbage. Invest the money and get smart tabs. I haven't used mine yet, but I hear so many good things about them.

Don't have tiome to post a pick now but I will get to it but I made mine,.

It is 3\16 aluminum with a small lip on it, the only hard part is getting a cut out for the fin on the bottom.

I made mine just to see if I could, any one can write a check btu how many people can make there own.

I will get a pic up soon.
