This tool will work for GM based engines too, so I posted it here. Mods please move if you think it should be elsewhere.

Had to swap out the pickup coil and module on my buddies older chevy 2500 350 v-8. It was TBI and the dist. bolt was 14mm. I did not have the dist wrench for this on hand. All I had was a 1/2"MAC one which I have used before on older small and big block chevies. Napa was already closed and did not want chinese junk from box store parts stores that just chews up the bolt and bends the tool. So I cut apart a craftsman wrench and found some 3/8" round stock scrap laying around and copied the other tool. I even knurlized too on the lathe. Took about 45 min. Had to wait till the truck cooled down anyway to get the distributor out.

Well done..

All the custom tools ive "made" over the years are hack jobs compared to what you've made..

Like taking the box end of a wrench n using the angle grinder to make it a crows foot.. Grinding sockets shorter so they fit in between my lower cowling and block to get my water jacket cover off.. As im sure you see a trend.. grinder is normally involved.
