Holley Dual Feed Fuel Rail/Log Question

My Holley carb has a rigid dual feed fuel line. I have had to bend the arms down a bit so that the inbound fuel line clears the cooling hose from the TStat with a carb spacer in place. I have heard that these rigid feeds are prone to leakage. Is there a better option in the way of a marine rated flexible feed fuel rail with better reliability?

Marine rated means its metal

factory installations are custom fabricated assemblies. I have re-made them a few times.

Mercury Racing had the two lines coming together near the center of the carb for the HP500 motor.

you can flip the line around to go aft and re-route the fuel line if needed.

I would think putting a marine fuel line assy like this in between the T and the fuel pump to offer some flex would help-

my OEM merc line between the fuel pump and carb was like this but had more hard pipe than flex ( hose with an abrasion cover with swaged ends)

I'm sure they are available elsewhere but these really have made hard lines connecting three carbs leak free ...that place has them in 5/16" and 3/8" flare

I have the fuel line shown by Scott from the pump to the fuel rail but the way it lays out you can see (pic above) where the end of the fuel line from the pump is right at the coolant hose so it isn't flexible to get around that hose causing the fuel rail to need to be lower than the coolant hose. With the carb spacer the rail has to be bent down for clearance. I have bent the line down but concerned with the reliability from what I have heard of those fuel rails (it appears aftermarket chromed for looks). By marine rated, I have seen flexible rails using steel braid but don't know if those are actually "marine" rated due to the internal hose.

if you didnt kink the tube, you are fine.

its glorified brake line with chrome plating

Agreed dont f it up too hard and it should work. flex hose is marine rated . as mentioned the stock merc set up had hose in two places tank to filter housing/ pump. And pump to carb had a section of flex. neither hose was braided just rubber hose with a woven cover over the hose.
