Holley carb

Needed to adjust 2ndary float level on my 4160 4bbl. Gasket is shot and now i'm in a pinch. I ordered bowl gaskets not realizing that the 2ndary gasket is different than the primary. 2ndary gasket goes under what I would call the vac plate. How do I remove this plate without trashing the carb setup. And also what is this gasket called so I know how to order it??

lots of times the local auto parts chains carry the rebuild kits and main gaskets for 4150 and 4160 carbs...

i believe the tool for the job is called a clutch plate driver bit i bought one at a place called tool city in torrance california saw a site where a guy made his own out of a phillips head screwdriver as to which gasket go to holley.com and look at the diagram i believe its called a metering block gasket but not for sure

Its called a metering plate. many of the rebuid kits come with the bit to remove as well.
