It's like amateur weekend every year. I'll be out of town and performing my first launch of the season, but have already done the prep and am ready to go.

Yep Wednesday. While out with the family and sitting pulled up on the bank a guy in a tinny clipped the back of one of my toons. Then he drove off like nothing happened. I ran him down and got a picture of his boat to get the reg numbers and had a warrant issued for hit and run. The damage looks a lot worse than it is but it ticked me off that he just drove off like it was nothing.
Already starting around here. A 20' center console.....I've never seen here at the marina.....just left. 6 adults and 3 children onboard. The captain hit 2 pilings out of 3. May the Boat Gods be with them today!
I wish I was he bumped me hard enough to push one of the toons off of the bank. But I am over it now. I contacted the COE and was refered to the state police and its treated like a hit and run in a car here and I suspect its dads boat and one of the kids had it out, so I am expecting a call in the future after dad is arested.
