Re: HO tubes

I bought the HO GT3 last year from Costco, and I was very happy with this three seater. Very good quality and ride. Lots of fun!!:D

Re: HO tubes

We picked up a three seater HO a few weeks ago. That thing is frickin HUGE but the kids love it. Like, we can't keep them off it.

Re: HO tubes

Other than a $35 dollar no-name tube we bought from Target that finally started leaking after 8 years of use, We have NEVER had a problem with any main brand HO, O'Brien, Stearns tube in terms of construction or durability. We keep em clean and out of the sun when not in use,

I would be more concerned about the shape/style/size of the tube being right for what you want to do than the brand. i.e. do you want a ride-in tube? or a laydown type? how large are the riders or will you have the opportunity to pull multiple riders?

Re: HO tubes

Like skibrain says, the key is keeping your tube (or any boating and skiing equipment) out of the sun when not in use. My HO and O'B tubes are 15-20 years old, but they are near the end of their lives. I still have skis that are close to 50, and they have the original bindings on them. My family and I (show skiers) prefer the older Cypress gardens wood skis for everyday skiing, so getting them to last is a priority.
