Hit Bottom -- Need Help

I hit bottom with my 2000 Sea Ray Sundeck 210 yesterday afternoon....ruined what was going to be a good day of boating. The Prop is pretty torn up, but repairable, I think. It has a few nicks only.<br /><br />However, problem is that the boat simply stopped and I had to be towed (how embarassing!). I have yet to remove the prop as I am a novice and thought it would be best to get some advice as to what the problem might be before really getting into it.<br /><br />I am hoping it is a simply (I guess) a spun hub or, worse, stripped splines. <br /><br />Any thoughts or suggestions would be very, very much appreciated. IF its not a prop hub, take it to pro and call your insurance. You could have internel damage that a novice doest want to face.
