hinged arch on a 358 vista

just purchased a 2009 358 with hinged arch. i'll need to put arch down to have it transported. anyone know how to support the arch in the down position. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

welcome aboard.

I would recommend blocking, cribbing and padding..... lots and lots and lots of padding. be careful not to break the $6k worth of windshield. since you will most likely be transporting a fair distance, i would also recommend shrink wrapping.

ok. thanks i guess i'll have to figure out a way to support it first

I would add bracing from the cockpit sole. Probably build something like sawhorses. Watch your total height on the trailer. Make sure you are below DOT requirements
