Hinge pins....grrrr

Can anybody tell me what size hex head to use to take out the hinge pins on a mercruiser alpha one? The tool stripped out after the first bolt and I am not waiting a week for another one. Thank you!

1/2 inch allen wrench and LOTS AND LOTS OF HI HEAT

Almost forgot, after I replace the bellows and get ready to put the bell housing back on do I need to put more loctite on the bolts?

It's a good idea...
