I posted a few weeks back with a high rpm and low speed issue, I have a 2007 Mariah 3.0. I purchased two different props and hub combinations and to no avail. I now can hit my original spped of 40-41 mph but my rpms are pegged at 6000k I know this is way to high. Guys this is driving me crazy what else could this be?????

Re: High rpms

You need to check your tachometer to see if it's correct, if it is, then trim your drive down and see if your rpms come down and your speed increases.

Re: High rpms

Hello, I have a 2007 Mariah with the 3.0 mercruiser, last season the boat would run at 4600-4800 WOT and 42MPH. I too the boat out today for the first time in two months and at WOT I'm pushing 5400-5600 RPM's - what could cause this issue?????
