High/low speed jets

650ts kawasaki it seems a little slow on the response to gas..i see theres a low and hi speed jet screws how do i tune em...thanks Erik

Turn them out to get more fuel turn them in to get less fuel. When was the last time you rebuilt the carb? If youre not sure what youre doing take it in. you could easily lean the motor out and blow it

does the engine have to be at hi speed to make it run better the carbs were just rebuilt about a year ago so i think there okay

I think that would be pretty near impossible on my ski. The dealerships set them up using a flow sensor.

When you say it is slow to respond to the gas, do you mean it feels like it is loading up, or starving out?

fixed bolt on carb created a vacuum leak thanks for helping me guys Erik

Good to hear; I recently rebuilt the carbs on mine and it was running great for a short while, then started to run like $#!t all of the sudden! Turned out one of the screws inside the carb had worked its way loose!!!​
