Ok so I have a 1989 Johnson 40hp VRO, recently replaced the VRO pump with a standard fuel pump because the VRO wasnt working properly. After i replaced the pump I use a ton of fuel anybody know the reason for this? the motor runs great but go through as much fuel as my old 200hp suzuki did.
