Hey Guys,

I currently have a a high five 21P on my 2011 Bayliner 185 with a 220 MPI

While out yeterday with 7 people + gear + full of fuel it was struggeling to pull a single skier out of the water

when i got the boat the PVS on the prop were plugged up.

Do the vents on the prop make a big difference?

Should i option a different prop? pitch? or have my prop re-pitched if possible?

You will need to get a prop for that load, I would try a 17p, and watch WOT rpms. I have three differant props for differant load and lake conditions, and will put the prop that works best for that condition.

Yup, a high five 21" P is probably not a good choice for a 220 engine. If you plan on having that amount of load frequently, then think about a 4 blade with a 19" pitch or something in that range. If you know what the boat came with originally, that would be a great help, as a reference point, as the manufacturer usually puts the best 'all-round' prop on the boat.

Are those all your friends in the pictures?
