Hiawatha Trolling Motor

I bought a Hiawatha Motor Model No. 25-7971. I need info on ,such as a manual or any thing someone can tell me how to start it . I read the directions on the motor and it says to put the motor in starting position. I don't know what that is . I understand the rest of what it says. Please tell me what year this motor is . Hi Tom Your motor was made 1947/48 5.0 hp.<br />Gale Products produce these motors.<br />Regards Tom
