Hey guys/girls<br /> I guess you people have seen or herd that my 70 merc is back and I ran it last weekend out on the lake for over a hour or so, and had no problems(yahoo) My question is how warm or hot is the water to get coming out of the taddle tail ????? It seems to be quit warm is thi normal??????<br /><br /> thanks for your input Barry

The water from the tell-tale has run the complete cooling circuit of the block, and generally will be quite warm at operating temp. As long as it's flowing, all should be well in the cooling system. Some motors seem to produce a hotter stream than others, by design or horsepower I don't know. Hope yours keeps running well!
