Sunday was a great day, I went water skiing and got up on my third try. I have not skied for over twelve years, and the old boat was able to pull my fat *** out of the water. I was very happy, I thought maybe I was too old but after reading posts on this site, I thought maybe I could get it done.

I got up on a new set o brien competitors with x8 bindings. After the driver figured out he need to hit it harder, I was able to get up. Got out side the wake, cutting across, it was a blast.
After my third turn, I lost it going back icnto the wake, and did the face plant.
I am a bit sore in my arms and a bit in my legs, but I jut so happy to be skiing again
After looking at the skis, I noticed that the lock for the laces on the binding was broken. I called o brine, and they did not have parts for them, so I decided I need to go a different way. My dealer is willing to take them back,
And I can get something else. I liked the feel of the bindings, so I would like to get something that feels the same. Any suggestions?

I am going to stay with combos and something long, but could use some suggestions,

Thanks in advance

You'll really just need to look around and see what is available to you. Problem with combos is that you will almost never find a set of combo bindings that you can buy seperate from the skiis.

Of all the combo bindings we have had, people have really seemed to like the sandle style on our HO team skiis. Might be worth taking a look at that type.
