I know the lake very well already. I wouldn't mind practice the day before but it just going to give me bad preconceived notions. Plus, with the mess I got right now with my house (the hardwood floor refinishing thread in non boating technical topic). I'm trying to decide whether to put carpet over it and keep renting it out or refinish the floor and sale the house. Going to lake St. Clair this Wed-Sunday, pre-spawn smallies, nuff said. I'm moving to another house in Indy and the 500 is coming up fast too. I love May, so much to do.

Had hardwood floors in my previous house and don't envy you. May does get pretty packed up there. Lived in Nora in the early 80's so I know what you mean. If we do well I'll let you know because then we will plan a return trip. Lake st. clair is nice. Good luck.
