You'll need a hazmat suit to take that out for a sea trial with all of that mold!!

for $300 it's an interesting project; the hull is unique and the motor a classic. For the right guy interested in restoration, it has possibilities.

Just what I was thinking. That boat looks like it's probably all fiberglass, with maybe wood in the transom. Like the late 50s Glaspars. Nothing to rot.

The engine's worth that, even if you just parted it out. And trailers are worth something, once you clean 'em up and paint 'em.

But what do I know?

The motor did look surprisingly good for the condition of the boat.

Well worth $300, even if just for the motor. The distributor from that motor will get you your money back, plus the lower unit, etc. The boat may also be a classic project.
You don't think a $300 boat would be turn key ready run do you?

I could part that Merc out for more than the asking price. Trailer is work a couple hundred. If any ofthe gauges and controls are there that could bring 150 or so.....
