Here's a unique boat launch!

I took off out of the Steilacoom/Anderson Island Ferry launch site today. My wife took this pic. The currents were extremely strong so I had to turn it around and push out. I never even noticed the train!



The seas were pretty calm, so we got quite a few pics in today too.

Thanks for the nice comments! Yep - Mt. Rainier in the backdrop. I'm an avid fisherman but sometimes it's nice getting out just to enjoy being out. I spend so much time working on and tuning up my boat (for enjoyment) I forget that it's supposed to go in the water.

Brownskull: I'm a Minnesota native and fished all over your neck of the woods growing up. My son wants me to take him back there to fish really bad since he's heard all my "fish stories."

I had a good summer on Pelican Lake and Gull Lake. As you know so many lakes you just don't know which one to go to.
