Hey, you have to admit, It was easier to get the table across the lake, for the Get together supper, than carrying the table all the way around the lake! :D

I want to try it sometime just to see if it would work! Had a friend in the 80's who had a 3 point racing boat that would not float! By its self yes but put a 35hp johny on it and it would sink! That pic as been around a long time!
EDIT: PS Jeff and I are still good friends..but when he wanted to race the darn thing he would call me to hold up the boat at the dock.. with motor running I would hold the transom up while he got into it.. that was a lot of fun...

I keep looking at that pic thinking of how exactly you would get it in motion? possibly if you were very careful you could sit absolutly still and it might not sink but wow!! I love the pic cause it reminds me of what my dad and I use to do with a piece of round plywood on a innertube and a 1.5 hp evenrude.. sure did not go straight very well but man would it turn !!

Oh I don't know...

my first experiance with an old boat of my own was one I found.. the sides where missing except for about half a foot of jagged wood all around..

The hull had a hole in it, but that was no biggie.. some seaweed and a heap of mud sealed that..

we'd get halfway out onto the lake before it'd sink... then I'd haveta drag it all the way back to shore so we could start again.. (luckily the lake was only 4 foot deep most of the way though..)

That table is a much more seaworthy vessel then that old rowboat hull was...

I would have been about 8yo back then.. was great fun.. (except for dragging it back to shore..)

rgds

Franki
