Here We Go Again (Another Season)

Maiden voyage today. Lake was too rough yesterday and strong wind from the north. All the prerparation work worthwhile. She started first turn of the key and gave us that great smell of 2 strioke !!!! Strong pee stream, head temperatures just right after warm up, nice even idle. so off we went through the 3/4 mile of no wake zone out to the lake. She popped out of the hole in a heartbeat and away we went. Beautiful weather, tiny waves and very few boats out there. We went late afternoon as it was too windy this morning (and Mothers day) so we did the brunch thing and dragged her down to the marina mid afternoon. So there we are back in our regular dock and ready for action whenever we want to.
What a great day !!! and the entire family are now making plans for the upcoming season.
It just brought it home once again why I love boating !!!!
