Helping friend with boat not sure what section to post in

Ahoy all im helping a friend by pulling a few parts off a glastron carlson cv19ss so he can have them rebuilt and sell it . Im not too sure what the power plant is :confused:

Thats the thing I dont know what kind of motor it is so I dont know where to post. A glastron carlson cv19ss . Its a jetboat v8 i tried to post a picture but i get a error message that the file is bigger then 2mb.

If you can, use an image editing software or app to reduce the pic size to < 700kb..
I've had best luck by reducing it to ~400kb...

In some cases, you can email it to yourself, or message it to yourself somehow..
that tends to reduce the size too..

Then try posting the picture again..
I'm sure with the picture, somebody will be able to tell you which brand it is..

Ayuh,..... With only the 1 picture, My Guess is a 455 Olds,.......

The valve covers, 'n oil fill, don't look Chevy,....

That most definitely is an Olds engine. 10 bolt valve covers are the giveaway, plus I've owned a bunch of them over the years. The Rocket Gold paint is another identifier. As to displacement, could be 400, 425 or 455. Only the numbers will tell.
