I have a 1990 Sears Gamefisher 15hp motor (pull start). My brother and I purchased the boat 3 weeks ago, and the first 2 weeks were awesome!!! Enter week 3 -- On Saturday we went to launch the boat and could not get the motor started. The thing had started on the first 2 pulls every other time we tried, but we got nothing on Sat. We had a friend come look at it, and he seemed to think it was the carb, so he pulled it out and totally cleaned it.
On Sunday we took it back out and it ran great for 5 min -- then died. After an hour of trying we got it started, but it would die when we put it in gear -- What's the deal? Any ideas?
