[skinny water]

I have a 186 bayreef my well/washdown pump went out i am trying to replace it myself. the question is i can not get to it. is there a way i can get it out or do i have to take it to the dealer.

I haven't ignored your post, just haven't been down to my boat recently. I'll be down the first of the week. I'm going to look at the hatch in front of my motor to see if there is access there.

Good luck, if it's anything like my 196. Has no room to get at it. All I can say is, if mine goes out, I'll cut the hoses and wires (leaving the old one there) and rigg the new one somewhere else.

On my 1720 you get at it through the circular access fitting at the stern.
